Refund Policy
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: TCP Gaming sells third-party digital license keys. We are NOT Microsoft or Xbox. All Xbox Game Pass codes are legitimate license keys from authorized distributors that activate official subscriptions.
Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of license keys, refunds are only available for unused, unactivated codes within 14 days of purchase, subject to verification.
Digital Products Policy
Unlike physical products, digital gaming licenses and keys cannot be returned once delivered. This is because:
- Digital products are delivered instantly via email
- License keys are unique and cannot be resold once revealed
- Gaming platforms do not accept returned digital licenses
- There is no way to verify if a digital key has been used
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered within 14 days of purchase for:
- Unused codes only: Code must not have been activated or redeemed
- Invalid codes: Technical issues preventing activation (must be reported within 48 hours)
- Wrong product: Received different product than ordered (must be reported within 48 hours)
- Duplicate purchases: Accidental multiple orders (must be reported within 48 hours)
- Unauthorized transactions: Subject to investigation and verification
No refunds available for: Activated codes, codes purchased more than 14 days ago, or codes that work as intended.
Damages and Issues
Please check your order immediately upon receiving your digital license key and contact us immediately if the key is defective, invalid, or if you receive the wrong product, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Digital gaming licenses and keys (all sales final)
- Successfully activated gaming licenses
- Purchases made more than 24 hours ago
- Items purchased with promotional codes or discounts
- Gift cards and promotional credits
Legal Compliance & Consumer Rights
EU Consumer Rights: Under EU law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. However, for digital content delivered immediately (like license keys), this right is waived once delivery begins with your express consent.
US Consumer Protection: We comply with applicable US consumer protection laws. Refunds are available for defective digital products within reasonable timeframes.
Third-Party Reseller Notice: As a third-party reseller, we cannot control Microsoft/Xbox policies. We sell legitimate license keys but are not responsible for changes to Xbox Game Pass terms or availability.
Refund Process
If you believe you qualify for one of the limited exceptions listed above:
- Contact us at contact@tcp-gaming.com within 24 hours of purchase
- Provide your order number and detailed explanation of the issue
- Provide screenshots or evidence of the problem if applicable
- Allow 3-5 business days for our team to review your case
- If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
Processing Time
If a refund is approved (which is rare for digital products), we will notify you once we've reviewed your case. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
